The purchase includes a choice of 10 or 15 pairs of replacement pads.

Usage time varies for a set of pads, but on average, a set will last around a month with continual usage.

Silicone pads

They don't stay sticky very long and I may be having a bit of an allergic reaction to them.

Hello Lynne,

If you cut the silicone pads in half it will help them to stick better and longer.

Regarding the allergy, I have never heard of anyone allergic to silicone, but I guess it could be possible. You can use it without the silicone pads, but it will make the signal feel a bit stronger. You may need to go down a bar or 2 to compensate. Best wishes.

They Work but Have Issues, And Expensive

Tried cutting the pads down to smaller size. That did not work as they just slid off the electrode. Now I have the entire pad on the electrode and it works better (wetting my ears first) but I have to be very careful to not move the clip around at all or the pad won't stay put. Why oh why are they so expensive?

Hello! You can also try our felt pads that go with the MAX. They stick on better and are smaller, but you do have to wet the pads down with 1-3 drops of water. It may be something for you to try in the future.

Don't stick

These have zero stick to the ear probes so they just slide right off. I gave two stars because I can use the machine, but pads won't last more than a week and are way too expensive.

If you cut the pads in half it helps them to stay on better as there isn't so much hanging out around the sides and then they will also last longer.
